Our café is well known for good food and fresh produce. We aim to keep as much of our produce as local as possible. Being located on an island poses obstacles for businesses when bulk buying and we are in the process of trying to reduce what we source from off island. One of the easiest ways to help ourselves is to grow as much as we can on-site and encourage others locally to do the same, and sell to us. Establishing a local supply chain is one of our primary aims. As we go forward, we aim to use a very simple policy that makes us think twice about where we buy anything from; Is it Local, Is it Scottish?
