Internal modification works have begun at Comunn Eachdraidh Nis and will be ongoing until May 2026.

Café and gift shop information:
The café will relocate to the museum during construction works and will be offering a revised menu.

From 12th February 2026, the café will be open from Wednesday to Friday, 11am – 3pm with last orders for hot food at 2.30pm.

The shop will be open each day from 10am – 4pm.

Seating will be limited and during this time we will be operating a walk-in system.

We are unable to accepting bookings, other than our regular clubs and bereavement gatherings.
Public access to CEN will be through the rear door.
There is a pavement leading to the door from the car park. We apologies for any disruption and thank you for your patience during this time.

Venue Hire
We welcome events of all shapes and sizes at Comunn Eachdraidh Nis. This special venue is the perfect location for conferences, small weddings, community events, family parties, or other celebrations. Our spacious café (with a seating capacity of 80), exhibition galleries and large open-plan museum area provide options to suit the requirements of different groups.
